What's the quickest way to lose weight? There's no quick way, it's a lifestyle change!  I want to gain weight and bulk up, what can I do? To gain weight you will need to eat more calories than your body burns off. Increase your protein intake. Keep your workouts under an hour, short and intense. Choose free weight exercises that use large muscle groups, use heavy weights and low reps and do 2-3 exercises per body part.  How often do I have to exercise per week to lose weight? You should be aiming for 3-4 days a week of 45-60 minute exercise sessions in order to lose weight and of course your diet plays a big part in weight loss. You can do all the exercise in the world, but if you don't have a proper diet to fuel your body with energy to help you exercise, build muslce and recover, you're body is not going to make any changes.  Do I have to eat rabbit food to lose weight? No, you don't need to eat like a rabbit to lose weight. You don't have to suffer from starvation, fad diets or fasting to lose weight. The key to weightloss isn't always what you eat, but more so when you eat it! A healthy balanced diet combining the right amounts of whole foods, proteins, fats and carbohydrates can send your metabolism into overdrive.  I work long hours and I don't have the time to spend hours exercising, what specific exercises can I do in a short period of time? Try interval training or Tabata's (20 sec work rate and 10 sec rest.) Increase your intensity to a point where you almost can't talk in your rest period. That's how intense it needs to be. Short and fast. I feel dizzy and sick whilst exercising, what am I doing wrong? It may be hunger pains. How long ago did you eat? If it's early morning make sure you've had breakfast. When you exercise you need to consume extra energy in order to fuel the activity, so make sure you have something substantial before you exercise.  When's the best time to exercise?  The best time to exercise is whenever it's good for you. There's nothing to suggest that any one time is significantly better than any other for exercise. Some people prefer to work out in the morning, finding that exercise gives them an energy boost. Other people feel exhausted if they try to exercise in the morning. The time of day that you choose to exercise isn’t nearly as important as making sure you work out at least three times a week: timing is a matter of personal preference. I suggest at least 1/2 hour to an hour after you eat.  I walk every day but I don't seem to be losing any weight, why? You have hit a plateau! I suggest you need to change it up, your body has become accustomed to walking and isn't responding. Take a different walking route, use hills and add intevals into your walking schedule, like run in between power poles, walk the next and run the following etc.... I have young kids and find it hard to make time to exercise?
